THE KITCHEN UPGRADE PLAYBOOK
The Buster + Punch signature finishes are designed to be versatile and match any style of space. That said, there are some colour and material combinations that combine effortlessly with specific finishes. Here’s a quick guide to working with Steel, Brass and Smoked Bronze in your kitchen projects.
Brass
Our Brass finish is a firm favourite when it comes to kitchens. Explore warmer tones to complement the richness of brass, or give it something to contrast with – heavy, raw stone, wood grains and super-smooth composite materials. Greens, browns and red shades are classic combinations. Using a white or off-white gives a unique neu-classic expression.

Smoked Bronze
Look in the little black book of architects and interior designers and you’ll find Smoked Bronze as the choice of the professional. It has the strength of black, with more visual depth, and its patina over time is second-to-none. Creamy tones are a great starting point with this finish, as are rough plasters, matt surfaces and raw industrial materials like concrete and render.

Steel
Steel rarely looks out of place in a kitchen. Crisp, bright and timeless, steel has a freshness and vibrance. We often advise people to think of steel as an accent colour that pops against almost every hue in the colour spectrum. Pairing steel with dark or light wood grain is a contemporary aesthetic gaining in popularity as well. Not to mention industrial spaces, which come alive with a foundation of steel detailing and lighting.
