[ fyi. To avoid tunnelling it is recommended that, when first lighting the candle, allow it to burn for 4 hours or until the wax has melted to the edge of the glass. Trim the candle wick to 1⁄8 to 1⁄4 in (0.32 to 0.64 cm) tall before each use. ]
