The Supply Chain Coordinator ensures availability of product throughout our warehouse network. Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager and working closely with other members of the Supply Chain team across Supply, Inventory and Logistics, it presents an opportunity for an enthusiastic & ambitious individual to make a difference as part of an exciting, dynamic and growing brand. The role is responsible for a number of product families monitoring forecasts, ordering and stock levels while building relationships with internal departments and suppliers to optimise inventory.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with inventory planning systems, with an understanding of forecasting and supplier management. The role requires an ability to deal with complexity and respond positively to change in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning – Monitor forecasts, flag exceptions and report forecast discrepancies. Work collaboratively across the business to plan for NPD, discontinuations, marketing events, managing uplifts as required.
  • Purchasing – Validate system suggested made-to stock purchases and ensure made-to-order customer requirements are met. Communicate with customer service and sales team to align priorities to meet customer requirements.
  • Supplier Management - Work collaboratively with suppliers to ensure purchase orders are completed and shipped on time. Proactively manage and agree solutions for manufacturing challenges and escalate as required
  • Shipping and Distribution – plan placement of orders to maximise use of sea freight, while maintaining and updating expected arrival dates.
  • Stock Holding Management - Ensure optimum levels of stock to maximise customer availability and ensure high velocity SKUs are never out of stock, all while following lean supply chain principles on MOQs and lead times to ensure stockholding objectives are met. Review warehouse rebalancing/redistribution as required.
  • Administration – Ability to work quickly but responsible for carrying out day to day administrative tasks for your product assortment such as: updating system lead times, product weights/dimensions, cost prices, MOQs.
